Ganesha Fortune may look like a simple slot at first glance, but once you delve deep into its many features, you’ll realise there’s plenty of action that can trigger with every spin. Perhaps the most significant inclusion here is the Megaways reels.
Granted, they come with a limited maximum of 32,400 ways to win but they also add a bonus reel at the top of reels two to four and bring cascading reels to the table. We managed to land quite a few consecutive cascade wins, especially when the Wilds on the Way feature kicked in with its transforming silver and gold frames.
Here’s what you can expect from the Ganesha Fortune slot features.
Wild symbols – Ganesha himself steps in as the game’s wild symbol. We found him quite useful, especially when his appearance allowed us to carry on with consecutive cascading wins, increasing our wins every step of the way.
Wilds on the Way – This randomly triggered feature can be quite the game-changer in Ganesha Fortune. On any given spin, symbols that take up a minimum of two tiles may land with a silver frame attached to them. If they end up forming part of a win, they remain on the reels during the following cascade and transform into a random pay symbol. If that symbol is also involved in a win, it becomes wild for the following cascade. We managed quite a few silver-framed symbols, but never quite managed to follow it up with a gold one.
Scatter symbols – A minimum of four scatter symbols are needed to open the way into free spins. We managed this quite a few times and even activated the bonus rounds with four and five symbols. Triggering free spins with four scatters gives you eight free spins, but each additional scatter adds another two free spins to your tally. We also managed to use scatter symbols to extend our free spins bonus. By landing four scatter symbols during the bonus rounds, you get an additional eight free spins.
Cascading reels – Winning symbols in Ganesha Fortune are removed from the reels and new symbols cascade from the top to replace them. It’s a fantastic way to increase your winnings, especially since there’s no limit to the number of cascades you can trigger on any given win. We managed to get some of the biggest wins from this feature with some help from wild symbols and the Wilds on the Way feature.
Free Spins – The biggest change in free spins is that you get an overall win multiplier of 3x across all wins. It’s a significant boost that helps you get even closer to the 7,524x maximum win. What we also appreciated was the win multiplier of up to 4x that came with symbols created through Wilds on the Way.
Simple and effective, Ganesha Fortune is one of those video slots that just gets it right. The slot’s medium volatility also meant that we were landing wins and triggering special features quite consistently, giving us plenty of action to look forward to.
On the other hand, that medium volatility, paired with a maximum win of 7,524x isn’t particularly appealing if you’re looking for larger wins.
If you grew up playing Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi, you’ll want to check out TopSpin’s video slot adaptation. Although we weren’t particularly excited by the maximum win of 4,000x your stake, we certainly appreciated the creative way with which wilds, free spins, gamble features and collect features were used to adapt the traditional game to the reels.

We’re all for original slots that think outside the box but would have appreciated a higher maximum win than the meagre 910x that Vikram aur Betaal offers.
