The Lantern Lantern Festival slot features are impactful whenever they pop up and helped us push our luck with some fantastic wins. The combined efforts of free spins and wild symbols gave us our biggest in-game win at a mouthwatering high of ₹570,000.
Wilds – The festival’s iconic lanterns serve as the game’s wild symbols. They step in for missing pay symbols and help create or boost winning combinations, but that’s just the start. There are two wild lantern symbols to watch out for, green and blue. If you manage to land a blue symbol at the bottom of the reels and a green one at the top, then the wilds will expand to cover that whole reel. It gave us the boost we needed in plenty of rounds, across both the base game and free spins, even helping us get a base game win of ₹230,000.
Free Spins – The red lantern serves as the game’s scatter symbol, and you’ll need a minimum of three on your reels to enter free spins. You start with 12 free spins and can top them up with additional rounds by landing more scatter symbols. The gameplay remains mostly unchanged, although Ka Gaming says that you get a higher chance of triggering the expanding wild feature. We did notice a difference, although our biggest win only involved regular wilds, which allowed us to hit ₹570,000.
Lantern Festival has some great win potential. We weren’t able to confirm the maximum win from Ka Gaming, but going by our experience alone, we can safely say that there are some huge wins you can enjoy.
But on the other hand, the game is filled with a limited set of features that we’ve seen and played through in other games before. It doesn’t quite make a lasting impact and we would have liked to see more mechanics that would have made Lantern Festival stand out.
So, if you don’t mind spinning through basic features, as long as the win potential is right, then Lantern Festival might suit you just fine.
