Adapting a game like Sic Bo into a video slot is no easy job, but Iconic Games manages to pull it off with some impressive features. The action all takes place on one pay line, where you can land dice or special symbols.
Landing three identical dice on the payline gets you wins of 1,500x your stake, which is a pretty good payout. But the biggest rewards come through the special symbol wins.
Special Symbols – There are four special symbols to look out for in Sic Bo Party. The DJ decks, champagne basket and disco ball are the highest paying tokens in the game and landing three identical symbols on the payline awards you with 500x, 5,000x and 10,000x your stake respectively. Now we never quite hit that coveted disco ball prize, but we did manage the champagne basket during one lucky round, which earned us our biggest prize of ₹2,500,000. The fourth special symbol is the scatter, and while it offers smaller payouts, it can trigger the free spins bonus.
Scatter Symbols – Blue diamonds serve as Sic Bo Party’s scatter symbols. If you land one or two of these on the payline, they transform into random dice symbols. But the best outcome happens when landing three of them in one round. This pays out 30x your stake and awards you with eight free spins.
Free Spins – The gameplay doesn’t change that much in free spins. All of the general mechanics remain the same, including all four special symbols you’d get in the base game. Scatter symbols can land here too, and you can continue adding more free spins to your tally and reach a maximum of 888 free spins. It’s not the most exciting free spins bonus we’ve ever come across, but you can land some fantastic wins here at no additional cost.
Sic Bo Party is aimed at a very specific group of players. The retro, disco theme and single payline feel like a throwback to more traditional video slots, while the Sic Bo-inspired paylines move away from this classic setup. There were moments when we felt like the special features could have been fleshed out more, but ultimately the game’s fantastic win potential made up for the mundane mechanics.
If you’re a fan of Sic Bo, classic video slots and are looking for the chance to land some huge payouts, then be sure to check out Iconic Games’ Sic Bo Party.
TopSpin’s Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi similarly adapts the popular game into a video slot. It has a more limited maximum win of 4,000x but comes with a stronger feature list including wilds, free spins, gamble features and collect features, through which we managed a big ₹1,500,000 win.
TopSpin’s Vikram aur Betaal is another innovative slot. The gameplay is based around three symbol pay towers that you’ll need to level up through the game’s single payline. Our only complaint is the limited 910x maximum win.
