High Hand Hold’em doesn’t stir too far away from the traditional poker formula. The game’s presentation is flawless, with high-quality visuals that make the interface straightforward to use.
OneTouch itself emphasises its mobile device priority, having designed the game to run in portrait mode on portable devices. But the game works great on desktops and wider screens too.
The gameplay is as straightforward as can be. The interface guides you along the way, switching the available options at every stage. Animations are great too and do a fantastic job of creating the right feel of cards being dealt and flipped on the table. You also get a couple of bonus features that add more win potential and help you track your progress.
Side Bet – You can add a side bet at the start of each round together with your ante bet. This gives you a boost on three-of-a-kind, straight, flush, full house, four-of-a-kind, straight flush and royal flush. The multipliers make a big difference, awarding anything from 2x to 250x your bet. Our biggest win came with a boost from our side bet. We landed four-of-a-kind and walked away with ₹6,000,000. Although it did increase our bigger wins further, it cost quite a bit. So, the side bet comes as a bit of a double-edged sword which you’ll need to manage accordingly to get the most out of it.
History – The history tab records all of your previous rounds. Each entry goes into loads of detail, keeping track of your hand, as well as the dealers and the community cards that came up during that round. While poker players don’t need this information to enjoy the game, it can be helpful to analyse how your strategies have worked out so far and what you could do to improve on them.
We went into High Hand Hold’em Poker hoping for a classic poker variation with a modern twist and that’s exactly what we got. The gameplay is fun and easy to follow with side bets doubling down on your chances of landing big payouts of up to 250x your stake.
Both beginners and experienced players will find plenty to enjoy here, so be sure to give High Hand Hold’em Poker a go, if you’re in the mood for some poker action.
Scientific Games’ DJ Wild Stud Poker takes a very different approach to poker. It features multi-hand play, wild cards and a trip bonus bet that can potentially pay up to 2,000x your stake. It’s a big bonus boost, which gave us our biggest win of ₹400,000.
Play’n Go’s Jacks or Better MH distances itself even further from the traditional poker game. But it walks you through the paces with a simple but intuitive set of features. Your winnings can be doubled and quadrupled through the gamble feature pushing potential wins to a maximum of ₹2,500,000.
