As The Mirage Hotel Casino prepares for its final farewell, nostalgia and excitement fill the atmosphere. This renowned landmark on the Las Vegas Strip is gearing up to close its doors on July 17. However, before bidding adieu, The Mirage plans to make a lasting impact by awarding substantial cash prizes to its guests.

The Mirage has diligently amassed $1.6 million in progressive jackpot funds, comprising nearly $1.2 million from progressive slot machines and $400,000 from progressive table games. Under Nevada’s strict gaming laws, this money, mainly contributed by players (with a small initial sum from the casino), must be returned to the players, as the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Therefore, The Mirage is hosting a lavish promotional event – a six-day extravaganza named The Mirage Progressive Finale Cash Giveaway– from July 9 to July 13, culminating in a grand finale on July 16.

Guaranteed Daily Cash Prizes

The event features daily guaranteed cash prizes, starting with $200,000 on July 9, 10, and 11, increasing to $250,000 on July 12 and 13, and concluding with a $100,000 giveaway on July 16. All of this will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

It also includes progressive table game drawings with $400,000 in guaranteed cash prizes. Drawings will take place at 8 p.m. on July 12 and July 13. Players must earn entries by playing qualifying table games with a Unity by Hard Rock rewards card between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the specified days to join. Eligible games include Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, Face-Up Pai Gow, Three Card Poker, amongst others.

A Historic Milestone

Did you know that The Mirage made headlines in 2022? It became the first-ever Las Vegas Strip property run by a Native American tribe. The Seminole Tribe of Florida, through Hard Rock International, snapped it up from MGM Resorts in a whopping deal that had a price tag of just around $1.1 billion. And guess what? Even after such a massive deal, Hard Rock International decided to keep the name and the brand of The Mirage intact.
