Multi-Hand Play, Rebet, Rebet and Play, Split, Double, Insurance Bet
Multi-Hand Play –Before hitting the deal button, you can activate up to four hands, just by placing a wager on each available slot. The more hands you have in play, the better your chances of beating the dealer and scoring a win. Of course, the more hands you open up, the more expensive each round gets. So, make sure the number of hands and bet levels you set are appropriate for your bankroll.
Rebet – After each round, you can hit the rebet button to replicate the same wagers you had during the previous round. We also found this useful when increasing wagers. If you increase the bet level and hit rebet then you can immediately increase your bet levels on the board.
Rebet and Play – If you want to jump straight into the next round without making any adjustments to the previous round’s setup, then hit the rebet and play button.
Split – Whenever you get two identical cards in a hand, you can hit the split button. This splits the hand, which in turn increases your chances of success. But by splitting, you’re also adding another bet which is identical to the one you had on the original (unsplit) hand. A split hand cannot be split again and you cannot double down on a split hand.
Double – Whenever you have a combined value of nine, ten or eleven without an ace in any hand, you can choose to double down. This doubles the wager you have on that hand and draws a single card. You cannot draw any more cards for a hand once you double down on it.
Insurance Bet – If the dealer draws an ace as their first hand (which can lead to a blackjack), you can pay an insurance bet. This will have you break even, should the dealer end up drawing a blackjack. We’d suggest avoiding this, as it will cost you more money in the long run.
If you’re looking for a friendly game of European Blackjack with intuitive controls, multiple hands in play and excellent win potential, then Red Rake’s Blackjack European ticks all your boxes.
We mostly played with two hands, following the martingale system which had us increasing our bets on losing hands. Our first few rounds were quite unsuccessful, but after a while, we managed to recoup our losses and even landed a huge win of ₹1,000,000.
So, go on, try out Blackjack European for yourself and see just how rewarding the game’s multiple hands feature can be.
European Blackjack – If you’re looking for a similar experience with fantastic win potential, then you’ll want to check out Relax Gaming’s European Blackjack. This also includes multi-hand play, although you’re limited to just three hands. But you get the same splitting and double-down functions that you find on Red Rake’s version. Win potential is a bit more limited, with a maximum win of 6,000x, but it didn’t stop us from scoring a big win of ₹3,000,000.
Double Blackjack Exposure – Add a twist to your online blackjack with Red Rake’s Blackjack Double Exposure. This variation comes with up to two hands in play, as well as the usual split, double down and rebet functions. But the best thing about it is the fact that you immediately get to see what the dealer’s hand looks like. We weren’t as successful here, but still scored a big ₹80,000 win.
