We’ve played countless versions of Blackjack and some are definitely better than others, mainly because of the features they offer. So, when we took a seat at One Touch’s Blackjack Perfect Pairs table, we were keen to see how it compared.
Thankfully, we were pleased with what we found overall. While the game offers a basic set of features, it does include multi-hand play and a side bet option, which we managed to use to great effect. The layout is simple and all of the functions are clearly displayed making it a sleek version of online Blackjack.

Blackjack Perfect Pairs throws in a good range of tools and betting options that more than satisfy our needs. Plus, the inclusion of multi-hand play and a side bet option added extra layers of fun to our overall experience.
Insurance: Blackjack Perfect Pairs offers the insurance bet whenever the dealer shows an Ace. If the dealer wins, this guarantees a 2:1 payout.
Double Down: When your first two cards total 9, 10 or 11, you can double down. This doubles that stake for each hand you double down on and you’ll receive one additional card.
Split: If you receive two cards of the same value, you can split them into separate hands. You can split up to four hands but you can only split Aces once – only one card is dealt to split Aces. Also, a hand containing an Ace and Ten counts as 21, not Blackjack, when splitting.
Multi-hand Play: We like to play multiple hands per round, it’s a great way to try different betting strategies and it also opens up the potential for bigger wins. So, we were extremely pleased to discover you can play up to three hands per round. Multiple times, all of our hands beat the dealer, which is one of the main reasons we had such a successful session. Our best single return was 1,875 – blackjack and two winning hands! Plus, it was extremely satisfying seeing two or three of our hands land the Perfect Pairs side bet – it gave us a great boost to our bankroll.
Perfect Pairs Side Bet: The Perfect Pairs side bet pays out whenever your first two cards are the same rank. Non-coloured pairs pay 5:1, a coloured pair pays 12:1 and a perfect pair (suited) pays 25:1.
All things considered, One Touch’s Blackjack Perfect Pairs is a solid game. It comes with an uncluttered interface and all of the basic features you’d expect. Plus, the multi-hand play and Perfect Pairs side bet open up even more betting options.
Realistically though, this is probably a better fit for new or intermediate-level players. Veterans and VIP players may not be totally satisfied with the somewhat restrictive table limits.
European Blackjack – MH: Play’n GO’s European Blackjack – MH is a simple six-deck version that offers quickfire action and multi-hand play. Like Blackjack Perfect Pairs, all of the standard features are included – insurance, double down and split functionality. The only potential drawback is the betting limits. Here, they’re much lower, only allowing you to wager up to ₹1,000 per hand.
One European Blackjack: If you enjoy live Blackjack and want more advanced features, we highly recommend Pragmatic Play’s One European Blackjack. In addition to all of the standard betting options and functions, this version features detailed statistics and side bets where you can win up to 2,000x your stake. After our ₹750,000 win, it’s a game we keep coming back to for more – be sure to give it a go.
