Turbo Mode – If you want a speedier session, you can switch on the turbo mode. This disables the animations you get whenever a new hand is dealt, which saves you a lot of time, especially when you have a lot of hands in play.
Auto-Hold – Joker Poker lets you decide which cards you’d like to keep from the first draw on each round. You can toggle the auto-hold feature to have the game automatically decide which cards should be held for the next round. Of course, you can still check these and make a final decision before heading into the next phase.
Multi-Hand Play – Increase your chances of success by having more than one hand in play. You’re fine to just play with one set of cards but can increase this to having up to 50 hands. Bet levels are adjusted according to the number of hands you choose to have.
Gamble Feature – Bagging a win from the pay table is just one part of the game. Joker Poker gives you the option to gamble your winnings for the chance of doubling or quadrupling them. You’re presented with a mini-game, where you need to guess the colour or suit of a randomly drawn card. Guessing this will double or quadruple the win, respectively. You can continue gambling on the same win up to five times, giving you even more chances to boost your reward.
For most of the game, we played with the full 50 hands in play and landed quite a few consecutive wins. Our biggest haul came after bagging a royal flush with a wildcard, which we then successfully doubled twice and quadrupled for a big ₹320,000 prize.
This game is incredibly easy to follow and the helpful interface guides you through it all.
The game’s biggest prize comes from hitting a royal flush without the help of a wildcard. We never quite managed that, but the lower wins still gave us loads of fantastic wins. So, if you’re looking for a simple poker game with straightforward functions and great win potential, Joker Poker might just be the right fit for you.
Double Double Bonus Poker – If you like the Red Rake formula, try out the developer’s Double Double Bonus Poker. It comes with the same multi-hand play, gamble feature, turbo mode and auto-hold functions. We got quite lucky with the gamble feature here and walked away with a huge win of ₹640,000.
Joker Poker – You can also try out Play’n Go’s version of Joker Poker. The game has more dated visuals and a somewhat less friendly interface, but it similarly allows you to quadruple your winnings through the gamble feature.
