Some licensed casino games come off as gimmicks and barely connect with the themes they’re supposed to follow, while others manage to stand out, creating unique experiences that successfully bring their setting to life.
Relax Gaming’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Roulette looks to follow in the footsteps of the latter, merging the popular TV show’s look and feel with classic Roulette features. And as you’ll see from our review below, the developer has managed to pull it off with boosted win multipliers, a bonus game and a maximum win of up to 10,000x.

Apart from looking and playing incredibly well, this version switches things up with its advanced features, including a detailed statistics board and a racetrack view with neighbour bets. You even get up to five lightning numbers with supercharged multipliers on every round. But what takes the cake is the bonus game, which adapts the TV show’s iconic ladder to the Roulette table, with massive payouts to look out for.
Statistics Board – The statistics board can be maximised from the left-hand side of the table and expanded to show the last five hot and cold numbers. We used it to adapt our wagers with each new round, and it helped us keep track of our progress along the way.
Racetrack View – You can switch to a racetrack view with the click of a button and set up to nine neighbour bets. It’s a useful way to place alternative bets on the table and could be a great way to hit as many lightning numbers as possible.
Lightning Numbers – The game picks up to five lightning numbers on every spin. They’re picked at random and come with win multipliers that range from 50x to a staggering 500x. We landed quite a few of them and got significant boosts as a result. Our best straight win was a bet on 20 which got a lightning boost of 100x, and we ultimately walked away with ₹3,000,000.
Bonus Game – You can trigger the game by landing on either 0 or 00 in any given round. On every spin, you’ll need the numbers to fall on millionaire numbers to progress up the ladder. You get 15 different tiers each offering bigger and better win multipliers that go all the way up to the game’s maximum win of 10,000x. We managed to trigger the bonus game often enough and managed to make our way to the fifth tier, which gave us a ₹300,000 win.
Bonus Buy – If you can’t wait for the 0 or 00 numbers to hit, you can buy into the bonus round. This will cost you 38x your bet but will guarantee the bonus to trigger in the following round.
As you’ve no doubt noticed from our review of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Roulette, we loved all that Relax Gaming has done with the game. From the slick design to the racetrack view and statistics board, this title has the makings of a fantastic Roulette experience. And that’s before we even get to the random win multipliers and engaging bonus rounds that can leave you with wins of up to 10,000x your bet.
Whether you’re a fan of the tv show or not, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Roulette is worth playing as it offers great features and brilliant win potential.
Although it doesn’t come with any licensing or bonus games, Playtech’s Premium American Roulette still manages to deliver a strong Roulette experience with features like re-bet, double bet and autoplay. It comes with a similar maximum bet of ₹10,000, although RTP is significantly lower at 94.73%.
Betsoft’s American Roulette has a similarly fantastic set of visuals but lowers the RTP to 94.74%. It’s aimed at Roulette purists who may not be too fussed about themes and bonus games but are still drawn by the possibilities that come from the game’s maximum bet of ₹50,000.
