Pragmatic Play takes us back to basics with Roulette – a variation of the game that uses no fancy bonus features but keeps things simple. You still get some helpful features though, including turbo mode, special bets and statistics.

Rebet – Keeps the same wagers you had on a previous round. This will push you straight into the next round, so you can’t make any changes to your bets.
Clear Bet – Removes all of the wagers from the table, giving you a clean slate to place a fresh batch of bets.
Turbo Mode – Toggle the turbo mode on or off at the start of each new round. This removes all the wheel-spinning animation, so you see the winning number as soon as you hit spin.
Special Bets – You can access a selection of preset betting profiles through the special bets function. This gives you four French bets, which include Orphelins En Plein, Tiers Du Cylindre and Voisins Du Zéro.
History – You can follow the game’s progress through the history board at the top of the screen. This shows you the last five numbers to hit the wheel, complete with their respective colours.
We love playing stripped-back versions of online roulette, focusing on the core mechanics without having all that many distractions. However, Roulette feels a bit too simple.
Take the clear bet mechanic, for example. It clears off all the wagers from the table, without offering the equivalent of an undo button. The same goes for the rebet function, which immediately throws you into the next round, without allowing you to make any changes to the previous rounds’ setup.
Win potential isn’t all that great either. Bets cap at ₹10,000 and with a 35x maximum win, the best you can hope for is ₹350,000. Luckily, we managed to land this a few times thanks to some straight bet wins.
Pragmatic Play’s Roulette ultimately falls short of delivering a great, minimal version of classic online roulette. We suggest looking elsewhere if you’d like to play a traditional game.
European Roulette – Check out BetSoft’s European Roulette if you want a game that similarly sticks to basic functionality, but improves on features and win potential. You get a whole new set of wagering possibilities through bonus features like a race track view, neighbour bets, special bets and statistics. Win potential is bumped up too here, and we managed some pretty big wins, including a ₹450,000 prize.
Triple Jackpot Roulette – If you want to move away from the traditional gameplay experience and go for something more daring, we recommend playing Tangente Games’ Triple Jackpot Roulette. Apart from scoring regular wins, you stand the chance of winning three progressive jackpots. You’re also treated to a detailed betting history section and a great selection of advanced wagers. We never quite hit the jackpot prizes but still walked away with a huge ₹1,050,000 win.
