We’ve played our fair share of mPlay games and most of those have been Teen Patti games. The developer goes for a much more basic version of the beloved Indian table game with Teen Patti Express. We’re fans of the 96.14% RTP and with a maximum win of 50x, you could walk away from the table with some great wins.
Our review of Teen Patti Express below gives you an insight into our experience and whether or not this condensed version of the game manages to pull it off.

mPlay really puts the express in Teen Patti Express with a stripped-down version of the game that sticks to an incredibly simple feature list. All of the included functions are the basics we’d expect from a Teen Patti game with no special features to speak of.
The game is clearly aimed at beginners and casual players and it’s missing the sort of excitement that experienced players like to get from their online casino games. And while its mechanics are implemented well enough, Teen Patti Express is missing an auto-play function. It’s quite the oversight, as this would have pushed the ‘express’ nature of the game further.
Re-Bet – If you just want to repeat the same bet you’ve just played through, simply hit the re-bet button. It’s the function we ended up using the most, spamming the button time and time again because of the lack of an autoplay feature.
Double Bet – As the name implies, the double bet function simply doubles your bet. Teen Patti only allows you to place one bet, so the feature automatically doubles everything on the table.
Double Re-Bet – This combines the two together to both double your previous bet and trigger the following round. It came in handy when we tried playing with a Martingale strategy, allowing us to double the bet and replay whenever we ended up with a losing hand.
Clear – Clear is more of an undo function in Teen Patti Express. It essentially removes the last bet you placed but doesn’t completely clear the table. We rarely ever used it because whenever we needed to switch things up we went for the Clear All button instead.
Clear All – As you may have already guessed, the Clear All function clears the bet from the table. We found it easier to just use this button and then set whatever bet we preferred, instead of fiddling around with the Clear function.
mPlay does well on its promise of delivering a simple, fast version of the beloved Indian game with Teen Patti Express. Sure, the fast pace brought its own limitations, particularly in not allowing us to bet on the dealer or place any side bets at all, but for the most part, the game manages to pull off what it promised in the first place.
Ultimately, we feel like this is a game more suited for beginners and casual players, and we won’t be recommending it to experienced players and high rollers anytime soon.
mPlay’s Teen Patti Champion is a much more conventional version of the game. It has increased betting options but comes with a reduced RTP of 94.89% while maintaining the same medium volatility level as Teen Patti Express. We’d recommend this for players looking for a more traditional version of the game and despite the lower RTP, we preferred the increased maximum win of 1,305x.
If you’re looking for a high-roller version of Teen Patti, look no further than Evolution Gaming’s Teen Patti Live. RTP is increased to 97.85% and you can get maximum wins of up to ₹3,600,000,000. This version really hit the spot for us and we highly recommend it for experienced players who want more than a simple ‘express’ version of the game.
